As is the case with photography, I’ve found myself to be quite musically inclined for the entirety of my life! I started playing keyboard at a young age. Throughout my adolescence and teen years, I gravitated toward a few different instruments, starting with the Trumpet, and eventually moving to Guitar and various forms of Percussion.
My interest in percussion instruments led me to music composition, production and DJing. My introductory attempts were with VirtualDJ on my MacBook and I soon started to use MIDI controllers with digital software. With a bit more practice came the upgrade to CDJs and turntables, most notably, the legendary Technics SL-1200.
What you’ll find on the site below are some of the “mixtapes” I’ve composed over the years. Majority of the music used in the mixes is Electronic House but as of late I have been including snippets of Hip-Hop, Rap, Panjabi folk, Reggae, Dancehall, Afro-house, Arabic and some remixes of songs that will evoke feelings of nostalgia.
I hope the music accompanies you on long drives, workouts at the gym, time spent with friends partying, or if you’re ever having a lazy weekday afternoon on your couch!
